MULTI-CIRCUIT ELECTRICS

MULTI-CIRCUIT ELECTRICS

Fixed or Adjustable Height Desks

Worktops removed from image for clarity.

Typical for fixed height desks, multi-circuit power duplexes are located in both the trough below the work surface and under the desk within the transition legs. Optional jacks for data, HDMI and other connectivity can also be positioned in the trough for easier access from the desktop, or simply mounted within the transition legs below the desk. This setup would be mirrored on the other end/side of the desk.

Multi-Circuit Power

This diagram exhibits the multi-circuit power (red) mounted within the transition legs and a jumper cable to power the duplexes in the trough below the worksurface. Optional jacks for data (blue), HDMI and other connectivity can also be positioned in the trough for easier access from the desktop, or simply mounted within the transition legs below the desk, This setup would be mirrored on the other end/side of the desk.

SINGLE CIRCUIT ELECTRICS

SINGLE CIRCUIT ELECTRICS

Fixed Height Desks

Worktops removed from image for clarity.

Typical for fixed height desks, single circuit power (red) is located in both the trough below the work surface as a power bar as well as under the desk within the transition legs as duplex and quad boxes. Optional jacks for data, HDMI and other connectivity can also be positioned in the trough for easier access from the desktop, or simply mounted within the transition legs below the desk. This setup would be mirrored on the other end/side of the desk.

Single Circuit Electrics

This diagram exhibits the single circuit power (red) mounted within the transition legs and the plug from a single circuit power bar below the worksurface. Optional jacks for data (blue), HDMI and other connectivity can also be positioned in the trough for easier access from the desktop, or simply mounted within the transition legs below the desk. This setup would be mirrored on the other end/side of the desk.

Adjustable Height Desks

In this diagram (with worksurface removed for clarity), a single circuit power bar is mounted with a tray that raises and lowers with the desktop. This feature eliminates the need for extra long power cords on height adjustable desks and reduces cable clutter within the cable chain. The grounded plug then can be plugged into a single or multi-circuit receptacle in the lower part of the desk.
